Dr. David Kim, MD

Dr. Kim, “The Doc That Rocks,” blends medicine and music with passion. A Rutgers and Robert Wood Johnson graduate, he trained in Integrative Medicine, pain management, and aesthetics, making Skinja MedSpa NJ’s first full skin remodeling center. A lifelong musician, he built his first guitar in high school and still plays professionally, infusing his love for music into the Skinja experience—making it the only medspa with “The Doc That Rocks!
Bernadette Kim
CEO + Director
Bernadette Kim, co-owner and director of Skinja MedSpa, is a woman of resilience and innovation. A former competitive cheerleading coach, her life changed after a devastating car accident that led to total facial reconstruction and a years-long battle with Bechet’s disease. Despite the challenges, she reinvented herself in the aesthetics industry, pioneering proprietary anesthesia methods for painless Morpheus8 treatments and developing exclusive protocols for superior body sculpting.
Melissa Kostick
MedSpa Manager
A busy mom of five, Melissa has over a decade of experience in the medical industry, including her time at Virtua and as a supervisor for multiple medical practices. As the daughter of Mrs. Kim, she finally took the leap to join the family business—and hasn’t looked back since! When she’s not keeping Skinja MedSpa running smoothly, you’ll find her cheering on her kids at their sporting events.
